One maintained record holds the canonical facts about that organization.

Locations belong to the organization instead of being re-entered per marketplace.

Offerings, articles, events, offers and reviews attach to the record.

Eligibility rules
Rules decide which surfaces a record and its content may appear on.

Independent publication approval
Each surface keeps its own editorial decision. Eligibility is not automatic publication.

Appropriate marketplace surfaces
Approved content is published to the marketplaces where it belongs.

Any paid placement is clearly labelled as paid wherever it appears.
Editorial separation
Editorial content is distinguished from advertising on every surface.
Provenance
Updates retain provenance so each surface knows where a change came from.

Working demonstration
The Shared-Record Model Is Now Being Demonstrated
A separate working implementation currently demonstrates one database supporting 25 configured surfaces. It establishes the architectural pattern. It does not mean that all existing marketplace properties have already been migrated to or integrated with the shared database.
